New MBRP exhaust!
#1
Hey all,

Just got home from work... Got my new system installed today!
So... What we had to do to an 04 sedan system to fit my 07 with gfx!
- firstly cut the stock just past the muffler
- second, attach front pipe with resonator to flexpipe (btw, my flexpipe is welded to my cat, sucks now I gotta get header and flex)
- third, cut welded tip off of tail pipe piece
- fourth, search through all the tips at work to find a duel wall 2.5" inlet!
- fifth, cut pieces of the sub fram so the new hanger will fit
- sixth test fit end piece with tip for hanger weldment
- seven, weld hanger onto right side of tail piece and insert into new hanger location.
- eight, bolt on new 6" long tip (bolt on rather than weld on so I can put a black tip o. In winter and polish my 304)
- nine, start 'er up and admire the job!

All-in-all, system is awesome and sounds even nicer than my first one on my 01 automatic!

Hey Muskoka, you work @ MBRP don't you? How do I go about getting a replacement tip for my system. When I got my system used the tip had been removed. A nice shiney replacement would be pretty sweet.

Hmm, that's a good question.... Your tip was welded on no? The tip used on my system is actually for a Tacoma system or something like that... Also the tip of my tail pipe had to be expanded so I could use the tip cuz it's 2.5 inlet! The nice thing is we also carry black powder coated tips of the same one so I can swap tips if I want...

Let me see what I can fish up though! You'll want a duel wall I assume not single wall!

I would just like a MBRP tip. When I got my exhaust used the original tip had been removed. I just have a cheap Canadian Tire turn down welded on the end and it's rusted to rat s#!t.
