svt timing belt

im pushing 130k so i think its time i change the timing belt lol. I just ordered the Massive timing belt tool online as well. Anyone know of any super high quality complete kits that i can buy locally?

go ford and talk to Steve at tousley ford you will save alot compaired to buying it here. i did pulleys tensioners water pump and belt belt for less then i could get the tensioner idler and belt here at ford employee cost.

your local SK dealer will also sell the timing tool kit for 20bux. mine was like 22 after tax.

Im at 85k and am thinking the same. My concern is the age at 10 years old I think its time. Ford told me $400 installed, does that seem reasonable? How hard a job is it to do? It sounds if many of you do it on your own.

FYI: there is a heavy-duty option for the belt Gates T294RB Racing Belt

It's in my current engine but I've only got about maybe 40k on it so I can't really give you any longevity opinions, but it has excellent reviews.

so it took about 3 days to do all the work i needed to do (timing belt, cam gear, water pump, silicone hoses and lower rad craddle) working on it at work in between jobs, etc. Heres the final outcome:
