I was always curious about it too. I usually spin those gear things while waiting for parts guy and spin them fast as I can with both hands...tell you what those demo assemblies are made good I have not seen a broken one yet!

I've always used this stuff in my focus , basically does a lot of cleaning I've had no issues with it . I use it in between oil changes.
