Svt Lip Versus Factory Zx3 Lip?
#1
So I noticed on my focus there is some crappy lip there already... does the svt lip replace this one? and is it wider?... I just need something to make the front bumper look a little beafier... can't afford a body kit yet.

An SVT lip is a great way to add beef to the front end without spending the bank. And it looks pro too.

A bunch of guys on here have one.

You have to take the bumper off to install though.

ya I think i'm gonna have my cousin swing by ford and grab one for me. As I understand it, they're only about 80 bucks right? And cousin has some connections over at ford so maybe he can swing a little something.

The guy that sells them used to be a moderator on FF. I know there are more pics in the PHOTO GALLERY on there as well as some threads on them for reference to help in making your decision.

I actually prefer the CUP LIP cause it's more aggressive (more prominent) and is alot cheaper then a OEM SVT lip.

I know its one of the most common ones, but I love my WW lip. Always have, always will.

What i like about the svt lip is it's plyable. On a couple driveways and such, i've scraped it on the ground. The fiancee has pulled the car up too close to curbs also. It just folds back along with the bumper. Pretty sure fiberglass is not going to do that. I have a 1.5 drop all around, run stock rims/tires in the winter, and 17's in the warmer weather.
Just something to consider.

To each their own... I only like the lip.... Not the side skirts and hood.
