I sold my MB components a little while ago and the alpine co-ax 5x7's were just not cutting it..
I decided to score some Hertz HSK 6.5 components with a 1" tweeter, -2 to +2 db switch....
Not installed yet,,still working on new pieces...pictures soon!

My doors were dynamatted about 24-hours after I bought the car....haha
I have made pods for the tweeters and special brackets with spacers to fit the 6.5" in the doors. The brackets and around the oppenning in the doors are now lined with foam from cascade as well!! The test fitting for the 6.5" is done and everything is cut and lined up..I just need a few bits of hardware still and...
I'm going to do the actual install in less than 24 hours from now and I will try to take some pics

Well the components are installed, amps tuned, and everything is finally finished...
All I gotta say is.....HOLY s**t...
I'm in absolute disbelief at how insane my car sounds now!! I never thought in a milllion years that I could compile a stereo system that sound EXACTLY HOW I INVISIONED...
THATS RIGHT... fabulous highs, insane bass, and just all around pure quality..
Not to toot my own horn but, I seriously dont think I could have done any better..
I have a few pictures coming but, they dont even tell 1% of the story....
anyhow...nothing can make this day shitty...
peace
