^^ no kidding.
problem with any site that tries to explain EMO, it's always a bit off the mark... close, in that I think it's correct for the regional EMO scene, but not so much for the 'accepted'(?) emo-pop culture.
or all you have to do is hit up livejournal.... anyone who's not smiling and is looking down and away from the camera can provide you a guide into the emo look.
I've seen a lot of it here in toronto.. I've seen Emos sitting in the middle of a statue at dundas and yonge-ish, looking sad, and introspective, but with the ever pervasive digital camera to capture that self-emo-portrait.
And while a there are punk bars in T.O., like the bovine sex club, they tend to have a few emos around as well. Emos tend to invade goth/punk clubs.
Actually, there's another bar I've been to on Monday nights at Bloor and Bathurst.. can't remember the name right now, but it's VERY emo... and watching EMO's cut loose and dance is always entertaining.
p.s. if you want to get some good eats and see where EMOs gather to eat in toronto, head to queen and bathurst to Saigon Cowgirl... a great fusion restaurant where you can get sweet potato fries with wasabe mayo and jager chocolate mousse.

From my understanding they can.... Besides Parkour is still pretty underground, hence im sure thats bonus points for him.
Im sure he goes home and cries about failed vaults, and slits his wrists because others are better then him ...
=P
To add to Jays list, Morbid Beauties and Livejournal (biggest emo site ever) are some other very popular emo locations on the net.
