Heard the flashers were ECU code locked.. so you could do cars with ame ecu code.. not sure about VIN..

but still.. dont think you 2 have the exact same code..
ZX3T gone..

So do you run the engines on standard compression ratio as bolt-on turbo applications or not?

You definately can run it on standard compression but very easily you can lower your compression by installing the head gasket from the Ford Escape. ;)

Obviously running it on standard c/r will be dependant on what power output you are pushing for.

Ford Escape? Sorry i've not heard of that as we don't have it in the UK. :D LOL. What c/r does this headgasktet lower to? Also why use this gasket? Is it multi-layer?

The escape is an SUV....the gasket is thicker...so lowers compression. :D
The exact numbers I am not sure of...

Just used Google to find one. ;)

Are these Escape's all 2.3 ?? We use a Focus 2000 Zetec-E Multi-layer headgasket from Ford for most ZT applications.

The old escape had the 2.0L engine...the new ones use the 2.3 duratec.
