Whining Sound
#1
hey all. anyone else have a problem that when they depress the clutch pedal, a whine can be heard from under the hood directly in front of the drivers seat? it only happens at the top of the pedal travel (so i guess it would be at the friction point). once clutch pedal is fully depressed (like if i'm at a light or something), whine stops. i removed the air intake resonator, so i'm wondering if maybe its some sort of negative pressure thing, and the sound (or air) is coming out of the hole on the side of the air filter box now. anyone got suggestions? doesn't affect preformance and no other problems that i can hear/see.

chances are it's not the timing belt, bet on the accessories belt. (the only fan belt on the car).
