Fuel Injectors
#1
I get my oil done by oil changers in the winter months, and every time I go in, the bitch that I should have my fuel injectors cleaned. They want $45 for it or so, and I always tell them I'll do it next time. I was reading on Focus Hacks tho someone's how-to on changing the injectors. Is it better to clean or change?

I just dump a bottle of STP fuel injector cleaner every oil change. Seems to be working fine for me.

the injectors are designed to last at least the life of the engine. I run a bottle of cleaner 2 or 3 times a year and I haven't had a problem.

Me too. Being doing that way for 10 years with many different cars and I've never had to have any work done on any fuel injectors.
