I'm picking out the furnature for my new office at work.....
Do I go with White, or birch.
I kinda like the clean White and steel stark look...... But the Birtch is less "artsy"
Any suggestions?

white office furniture? I don't think I've ever seen that. I agree fociphil and vote birch. Unless you surf the porn all day and then in that case the white would help cover things up better.

If i had a choice between the two, i'd go birch. But outside of those, oak would be nice.

actually, when it comes to art and stuff of the like, white tends to be more practical, the whole idea being that you don't have colours interfereing with the colours you should be concentrating on, and nice even lighting void of refracted colors and stuff.
Same reason graphics art should all be done on a CRT, LED backlit Monitor, or via a pantone book.
too bad white is so ..... white...
I guess I'd still pick birch.

Being a guy that used to work with real wood, I absolutely HATE HATE HATE HATE this fake wood crap that everybody seems to buy and pay top dollar for!
This looks like the real cheap fake stuff too... Problem with some of this fake stuff is if its poor quality the veneer will peel off on the sides, etc and it will look like crap after a while. I'd say maybe if you can get something with rolled edges (take a look at some ikea stuff) the edges rarely peel on their fake stuff..
UGH and the Aeron NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Hey I got the same desk as you puppet :P That was the only desk capable of supporting my 22" CRT monitor without bowing in the middle, and yes the beach perhaps is a nicer colour.
