The Finlanders enjoy them and from what I know the studs are road friendly.
Is the ban Canada wide and if you use them what would they do fine you ?

The studded tire ban is not Canada wide. I know they're legal in SK, I remember when someone posted a map on one of the local boards here when it was brought up last year. I think they might be legal in MB and possibly AB.

Hell you can drive your car around with tire chains in this province.. But I guess our roads are already terrible, what's the harm in ripping them up a bit more.

I think there are only one or two provinces that outlaw studded tires...and Ontario is one of them.

the new studded tires don't damage roads, reduce stopping distances by over half in icy conditions... it's silly that they're not allowed in Ontario
