as far as offroad vehicles go, the g-wagons are probably better offroaders. You can actually drive them on jeep trails.
I personally don't see why they can't keep the H1 available... they're made on practically the same line as the humvees.. so they put in a kangaroo leather dash and floor instead of the armor plated one.
I don't care to have them on the street per se, but I would miss bugging H2 owners, "so couldn't afford the real hummer, eh?"
it's like when the originall hummer came out and people got just the truck version without the auto-inflate package... "what's a matter? couldn't afford the whole truck? poser!"
