I think the extra shimmy on the GT could be from the stiffer suspension, rear anti-roll bar, and LSD.. i dunno...
I mean, performance wise, the GT is pretty compelling... but how often do you really get use out of it? The v6 doesn't feel like a slouch on the city streets, so I honestly think the difference is only on the track.
the v6 may be a copout... but I don't think it's that big of a compromise.. it's not like taking the 4 cylinder over the 5 litre back in the day. you drop the fogs, some suspension bits, and the LSD, and 100HP and trim 15G off the sticker price.
I would love the volvo as well, but it's more $$$.. buuuuut I do get an extra 2% off over the ford xplan....
