Steve, since it seems your dealership is so hot to take the focus off your hands wouldn't it make more sense to scavange what ever you can off it before trading it in? I haven't seen you mention anything about that, unless your under a serious time crunch or have gotten rid of all your stock parts? If your the kind of guy who likes modding your car than I"m not sure if the stang is going to be the right choice. The aftermarket for the S197 cars is exploding with new stuff every day and it always starts with "well just the intake" unless your going to be like Jay and vow to leave this one untouched (except for the requisit wheels and tint. Also beware the dreaded "Shoulda bought a GT" V6 buyers remorse syndrome which I have seen more than a few times.
