It doesn't surprise me one bit but initial quality is not all its cracked up to be but they are getting better year over year on the long term quality indexes. They should be proud of the way they are going they have introduced 7 new models in the last couple of years. They do need some work on some of there interiors as they do look cheap but they do hold up in Canadian weather so its not too bad. I took a new Sonata for a spin but it wasn't the 6cyl it was the 2.4L 4cyl, the 2.4 is a silky smooth engine and on the highway there was very litle engine noise coming into the cabin.
