See, here's the deal IMO. There's LOUD, which is annoying, obnoxious, disrepectful, crappy sounding and stupid. Then there's loud, which is performance minded, sounds good, generally no too disrespectful, mildly annoying to some. The difference is IMO huge. There's a guy down the street who cut the exhaust off of his integra and replaced it with 3-1/2" pipe and glasspacks, sounds like s***, people complain about it all the time because he revs the snot out of it whenever he leaves or comes home. Now, side by side my car isn't that much quieter, a lot of my friends have louder exhausts including a 67 Camaro that can be insanely loud, but nobody ever bitches about us because of one thing, RESPECT. We keep it down and drive like normal human beings, just like the guys with the 3 harleys around the other block, they idle out when they leave at 6am for a day long ride, then the doorknob who leaves at 8 on his rocket at a million rpm in 1st gear gets yelled at and the old guy 2 houses down throws a tomato at him (funniest damn thing I ever saw) caught it all over the side of his helmet with the face shield up :lol:
