My dad was involved in Powertrain )Windsor Ops( in the 70s to mid-80's, didn't have much to do with COB. He was involved in the launches of Essex Engine, Dearborn Assembly for the Escort/Lynx and at the time reported directly to Detroit.

I would doubt very much that you would have known him.
