Seriously though, I put in alot of work in my focus to learn and to go faster.. and to save money from buying a whole kit. I feel that it was worth it in the end. Its not all that "dangerous" in the end IF you do it properly. Specially if you buy a kit, there shouldn'T be much headaches in installing it (besides rusted bolts).. If i had the choice to do it again, i might not start from stratch like i did the first time but i would definitly do it over again.. but also in my case, it was the custom work that was the most work.
