Hey all! I picked up my new Focus on Friday and am wanting to keep it looking good. I have read some of the detailling suggestions both here and on other forums. I am wondering about the correct drying procedures. Is there any real difference if I use a chamois, or towel?

Will one leave scratches, or mar the finish?

Can one wax a car too much, or is that a personal preferrence issue?

This is my first new car (just replaced a '91 Escort) and am unsure as to what to do next. So, I thought I'd tag along with this thread to get some tips.
