either will work.
your car will not break if you run a different sized tire.
from the stock 205/50/16 to a:
215/45/16 there would be a -1.917% difference or if your speedo was at 100km/h, your speed would be 98km/h.
205/45/16 there would be a -3.469% difference or if your speedo was at 100km?h, your speed would be 96.5km/h.
the 215/45/16 would be the better size but i'm not sure what you mean by a "better combo"...?
