It's good to see all automakers making progress, however I think the good news should be tempered with the knowledge that not all issues for a particular model year are discovered within the calendar year.

More statistically significant IMO is whether or not auto manufacturers are still down on recalls for their past model years as time passes (IE: Are they still discovering issues for example with the '05 MY Focus nearly two years after the first ones were introduced?)
