Pardon my skepticism here but transliterating the Transport Canada bafflegab into real worls english, they're saying they don't test, they rely on the manufacturers own testing and yet they call CR's testing methods BS?

I have a real problem with that response, relying on a manufacturer alone to certify their product without independant testing is like asking the fox to guard the henhouse if you ask me <_<
