I'd rather the newer drivetrain over the Zetec and its known issues, but that's just me. I'm addicted to the torque of the Duratorque... I mean Duratec.
If you want the manual, all the power to you. But, if you have modding aspirations... I hope you plan on buying it out at the end of the day.
FYI... my Focus is 390/mo over 5 years at 0% interest and 500 measly bucks down.
Don't forget, there are lots of lease fees that could (potentially) drive your initial costs before delivery WAY up.
