If you're replacing the struts anyway, try and get something matched for the drop you're doing. The SVT suspension is only about .5" lower than ZX3 suspension, so the struts aren't going to be optimal for going lower than that.
You can get by with stock struts, but they will die sooner or later and you'll wish you had installed a matched set in the first place. I have the FK 35mm springs on stock struts going on about 2 years now and my struts need replacing. It wasn't bad at first but it's pretty bouncy now..
