That, and its no big secret that the OEM tires fitted to ANY Focus is junk. Goodslides, Michelspins, P06's...all just cheaper average passenger car tires. If you were to get something like the Fuzion HRi's all the way around (or the Bridgestone Potenza G009's or Potenza RE960's) you won't ever have any problems with the way your car steers or handles again.
Also, wherever you get your tire stuff taken care of, ensure that they have a machine that can road force the tires. If the tires aren't as exacting as you want, you can have them indexed...this is where they break the bead, and rotate the tire about an inch or so forward or backward, reinflate, and balance and roadforce again. This takes more time, and costs more, but you end up with a better seated/sealed tire and tire bead, as well as less weights on the wheels.
