I had that problem with my last Focus, I think it only applys to automatic foci though, I took it to ford and they looked at it could not find anything.

However, it got worse closer to the 100,000 kms mark, in reverse only. Then the fuel filter started to go in the car, then I traded it in.
I was the only member on this board with a Yellow Focus Sedan, and a 2002+ Euro Facelift on a sedan.
