this law is dumb.............the cars are safer then the cars from the year the 100km/h speed limit was introduced..........although I do agree if your doing 50 over on a residential road you should be Russian style judged.
I think 120km/h should be a reasonable limit.... unlimited on our roads is not possible because:
a) we have to many idiots that drive on our roads
B) to many people that drive under 100km/h
c) our roads are still junk in many places.

I drive a 2010 Golf that growls at people when it goes over 3000rpm.
