Transport Canada has issued its latest recalls
December 7, 2007
Ottawa, Ontario - Transport Canada has issued its latest recalls, which may affect some Nissan and Focus vehicles that had not yet been sold to customers.
2008 Nissan Xterra
Vehicles affected: 4
On certain vehicles, the anti-lock brake system/vehicle dynamic control actuator was assembled with more than one ball bearing in the valve. This could block fluid flow, resulting in reduction of brake force in one or both front wheels. Dealers will replace the actuator. NOTE: All vehicles were captured before retail sale.
2008 Ford Focus
Vehicles affected: 3
Certain vehicles may contain an incorrectly assembled driver's airbag module which may not deploy properly during a frontal crash. Dealers will replace the module. NOTE: All vehicles were in dealer inventory at time of recall.
