I'll chime in for stability control - the DCS in my RX-8 can apparently claw down through ice and snow and keep my baby on the road when I wasn't sure that it was possible to do so.
ABS we all know is a good thing - it's an accident avoidance tool, not a "shorter stopping distance" tool. TCS (part of my DCS, actually) is a bit more of a nanny than I expected, but I imagine it's saving me some tire wear :P
