Rode in my mom's '08, maybe it's unfair comparing a model with near zero options (A/C & auto... that's it) but I certainly found the driving position not to my liking at all :( (Like sitting on a highchair)

The first time I drove a Focus, rented it for a day 'cause my Escort was getting an engine replaced, I couldn't get comfortable driving, I swore I'd never own one :lol: I had to rent one for a couple of days again, at a different time, and took sometime to find the right driving position, but once I found it, I changed my mind about the Focus, (although I was still skeptical about the recalls ). Unfortunatley for you, it's a great deal more difficult for you to test drive a car.
