I personally cringe at having my speed limiter set too low.
Sometimes you're trying to pass 2 tandem trailer transports that are tailgating each other up a single lane hill with good visibility, but you can't just pass at 105kph and get around them safely.
I hit a situation in a sebring convertible trying to pass traffic that wouldn't let me in while I had a transport suddenly appear in the oncoming lane... having the car hit the rev limiter on a straight stretch of road when I needed to be ahead of someone in a hurry was a little disconcerting.
My biggest pet peeve is getting stuck behind someone who thinks you should only pass at 5kph over the passed traffic... I don't want to be forced to be one of those people.
Granted, speed limiters are easily circumvented... so it's not a huge worry for me.
