I just had to comment on this RIDICULOUS new law. Agree with me or hate me, the tax dollars really should be going into drunk driving crackdowns and enforcement, seatbelt violation detection (especially for parents with young children) and hell... even "street racing" where punks in Mommy and Daddy's cars tear down known heatscore roads, attracting more attention to tuners who just want to be different.

What bothers me is that we'll waste the time and tax dollars to put this bill into place and then harass motorists that happen to be holding their heads while verbally lamenting this ridiculous new law while Joe Sixpack next to him is 6 beers to the wind or worse, has been convicted 3 times already and is about to play Russian Roulette with fate and a roadway full of innocent people. Great stuff.

I'm sure the families of victims killed by repeat drunk driving offenders will appreciate the removal of people from the road who not only were sober and very likely to drive responsibly, they were also one of the last lines of defence in reporting drunk drivers to the police.
