Its good to see that they are finally updating autotragics. I cant believe that they were still selling the ancient 4 speeds in this day and age.

Actually the present Fusion has two autoboxes, depending on the engine. A 5 speed autobox for the 4 banger (along with the 5 speed manual) and a 6 speed autobox for the V6 (No manual offered for the V6 at all)
What is significant with the new Fusion is the fact that the autobox in the 4 banger is upgraded to the six speed unit and a six speed manual is offered in both the 4 cyl or the V6.
The Sport model Fusion will offer the ability on the automatic to shift gears yourself, I don't know if that will be offered in the other V6 trim lines.
