Not really... when you "open" a PST file within Outlook, it's almost like a MDB file for access - Outlook locks it and you can't even copy it until Outlook is closed.
So, for one email account, the short answer is "no". There are other ways of doing it... buuuuuut I don't recommend it. It gets sketchy in a hurry.
