I'm glad to hear that is the case, I'll definately ask for a test drive next time I'm in. People talk about peak HP but forget "where" it happens and where is usually some lofty peak.
From what I'm hearing with this CVT is that it happens everywhere if you want it (mash pedal). I spent some time in Subaru CVT's but they where like 69HP 3 bangers. Underpowered but interesting nevertheless and enough to make me curious about a Ford CVT.
