And I wasn't ripping on Macs... I was ripping on Intel for taking a great idea and executing it 90% right and then falling back on an old trick for the remaining 10%.

But that's been Intel's M.O. since the days of the 8088, a complete from the ground re write of the chip is never done, whether for reasons of comptability, cost or just sheer laziness, Intel never goes "the extra mile" *Just like Micro$oft... hmmm :P"
