This is quickly escalating out of control out there. It's good to hear that the RCMP got their hands on this "batch" of weapons, but surely there are more.

It was good to hear Obama the other day admit that America was the most significant factor in Mexico's drug war ... being the source of the market (ie: source of money) as well as the source of the weapons ... and to whatever degree the gang wars in Vancouver are drug related, IMO it's the same thing north of the border.
I know that fundamentally Americans are different than Canadians when it comes to the use of guns, but our gun crime profile would be significantly different if it was just as hard to get a gun in America as it is up here.
