I've seen people on other forums who work for government (and not just government) jobs and are able to trace your address;name ect. through the plates that they see on photo.
Anyways, the last thing you need is wake up in the morning and your rims are off your car or you say something out of the lines and the cops give you a visit. These are just examples.
At the track its understandable...I take mine off now....I've heard stories where insuarence companies paid some folks to go to the track and write down the plates so after they can run them in their system. :ph34r:
