Actually she suggested Yonge & Eg, what is a good place around there?
Don't say St. Louis for wings! I meant someplace nice.

yonge and eg... I would say Five Doors North -- amazing casual fine italian dining.
I've had their sword fish steaks (it's like eating tender loin), the almond and bacon pizza, the mushroom risoto, and pumpkin encrusted salmon and a few other things -- and it's always amazing... the portion sizes are reasonable too -- enough that you can try each item from the antipasti, primi and secondi sections without being too gluttonous.
try the pumpkin seed crusted salmon or veal ravioli. They also do killer risotos and the prices are cheap... it's the best value/dollar mix by far.
But if you want more ethnic than fine foods in a casual atmosphere, try Mariachi's for awesome mexican (just stay away from the platter for two), tabuleh (sp?) for decent kebab, or grano for pricier itialian (they have a decent selection of aged scotches).
But seriously, if you want to save money, have a great meal and get laid, I would do 5 doors north. (right beside mariachi's).
oh yeah, there's a Cobacabana's Brazilian grill that opened up at eg and Mt Pleasant -- haven't been yet tho.
Also a Boston pizza that opened at yonge and egg (the old summit).
also, decent sushi at yonge and davisville -- Izu, south of davisville is slightly better.
