Love him or hate him, Sid is the most "Gretzky-like" player in his mannerisms, his calibre of play and his overall potential since a young Wayne laced them up about 30 years ago now. In fact, Wayne's first full season was '79 - '80. Wayne may be the high watermark for excellence, but Sid will be the one new players will attempt to keep up with over the next 5-6 years at least.
