You're going to have to make a few trips to Napa for missing things, hose clamps, hose heat shielding, sheet metal for an alternator heat shield.  On FJ, Randy recommends a heat shield for the firewall, but that heat shield is for a PZEV engine, kinda worthless to us.

Comments on installation of stage 1:

Pros
1. Very easy to follow instructions.
2. Installation was over 2 days or 10hrs.  One day to remove items and install Turbo/Manifold.

Cons
1. Contrary to the instructions, Install the TURBO and MANIFOLD LAST.  PITA running tubing and hoses with it in the way.
2.  Ask Randy for some Fuel injector adapters for the Bosch ones.  I think CFM has them too.  Cutting the fuel injector wires is another PITA since they are so short.
3.  The MAF sensor location really stretches the wiring.  Recommend finding some sort of extension.

All in all it is a pretty easy installation.

Datalogging with Randy is easy.  Just do the datalogs and send to him via e-mail and he sends you the new tune.

As for the experience, IT IS FUN.  Its even more fun having a sleeper setup.  Keeping the second cat keeps the car fun, but quiet when you need to.

Now stage 2

The install is pretty easy for the intercooler, takes about an afternoon with a friend and a few beers.

I've only got as far as installing the boost gauge and boost tee, but the intercooler makes a good difference even on the stage 1 tune.

Just look at my sig and you'll see what I got.

I highly recommend getting new rubber, a dogbone mount, and 2.5" exhaust.

As from what I know that you like to drag race, upgrade your clutch and LSD before going Stage 2.  Stage 2 with lots of hard shifting will kill a clutch fast.

To go along with the kit i will be getting a new clutch/flywheel, just havent decided on which yet. I am pondering the 2.5" FS exhaust but what i mite do is run the 2.25 for a little bit until i have the cash to upgrade to 2.5 or 3.0.

I have a dogbone mount already in the car so thats set. I plan on buying stage 1 and 2 at the same time, that way i can get it all put together at one time.

So far i have been talking to randy on focaljet regarding the turbo options as well as other general inquiries.
