The same way everyone else would... Go to a store, or phone in to the over the phone activations centre, pick an airtime package or data plan, do a credit check, or if you are an existing customer, simply do a SIM SWAP!

btw, what kind of pcmcia card are you using? is it an edge (2G) or an hsdpa (3g)?
