To hardwire your Satellite Radio, you will need an auxillary input converter. I used the P.I.E. FRD-04. The unit has two standard RCA jacks and a cable that connects to an input connector on the factory head unit. It needs to be wired in to +12v. I use one with the Onyx XM radio. You can also hook up an Ipod with it, it simply adds an aux jack. You will not be able to use the headunit controls to control the satellite radio however.

Crutchfield.ca has them for $109, I found mine used on Kijiji for $50. It works great and sounds WAY better than the FM transmitter on the satellite radio.
