The only sort of easy way is to run the turn signals from you front side or grill signals lights wiring all the way to the back (but that will just put an extra power load on your fronts).
The bulb holders and pigtails are different on the euro tails as to the North Americans, All I did was use a file and open up the inside of the euro tails to hold my factory sockets.
There is a way to do it from the wiring under the glove box, but I haven't tried yet (hopefully the next sunny weekend I will give this a try).

Actually the easy way to have the 3 stage lights for your hatch is go to the wreakers and pull out from the plug the wiring harness from a sedan with the turn signels seprate already, all you have to do from there is test or mark each lead for what function dose what, I think I only had to cut the rear defog wire and resoder it. all the plugs are behind the rear passernger seat on the driver's side in the trunk.

Are the plugs the same as the hatch's? I can just unplug at the yard than plug in on my hatch and test at home?
I'd rather try this way then the GEM idea

So for those that have done the REAL Euro swap, what needed to be done to the wiring to move the signal bulbs and reverse lights?

EDIT: and yeah, I did the wiring mod at the GEM thing to wire the Euro tails on the '07 wagon ... it was a pain in the butt and would have been a nightmare to reverse ... that's why I looked for an alternative for the Fusion, and that's how I came up with the module mentioned above. It's wired at the rear of the car at the lights and is easily reversed if needed.

I might give Frosts idea a try as it seems 100 times easier and reversable :)
