Some of us are in the exact same boat - on our Nth Focus since the 1999 release and are unable to enjoy driving much else.
I do make exceptions for the fine automobiles from the land of Zuffenhausen, but other than that... Ford it is.
There's a wealth of collected PDF "How To" files here, and I can't stress the importance of a Haynes / Chilton repair manual enough for your 2003.
In fact, my "borrowed" copy of a 2000/01 manual is right here on my desk.
