A missed opportunity? I let it pass.
I just don't have the "balls" to take on a potential expense like that. My driveway is super small at best, not long enough to hold that and my wife's Sante Fe.
I had tires and brakes quoted for fun, and I almost s**t my dickies. I could turbo the focus for the cost of some Viper brakes.
As much as that truck suits me (I'm a big guy) and as much fun as it would be to drive circles around you guys (in a straight line ), I know my desire for long drives in the country... I'd be driving that thing everywhere = $$$$
The truck as it stands is still for sale (I think) and remains in a barn well protected. Some single guy with a fat wallet and a small wanker will pick this machine up.
I'm sure these all sound like lame excuses, but when your saving for a bigger house, Dropping 25k on a truck that will cost you a mortgage payment a month just to drive, just doesn't make a whole lot of sense to the wife and I.
I'll have to hold off a little while longer for the WRX. LOL.
