how do i clean my MAF sensor?

i have a full K&N CIA right into the fender just so this might make more sense.

here's the background... me and my buddy thought it was a good idea to clean the intake manifold with seafoam. no problem there once we found the right hose with the help of the forums.. so we did it,, didn't get alot of smoke last night.
well i got some left in my intake from the first attempt at getting the stuff thru the intake and well i blew some through the engine first time i floored it. which meant huge smoke show out the back and the engine light flashed on and went off and well now my car is throwing the code P1100 intermittent maf signal or something and i was just thinking i might have clogged something up and was wondering what i use to clean the sensor now..

anything else i could try before i replace sensor would be appreciated too...

thanks.

Chris.

Well I assume you don't have a can of MAF cleaner in the garage and basically everything's closed today, so...

If you have some carb cleaner or brake cleaner that is non-chlorinated you can use that in a pinch, although not really recommended ... or very gently use a Q-tip dipped in isopropyl alcohol which you might find in the first aid kit.

IIRC you also need a T-20 tamper proof bit which you more than likely don't have lying around ... I have one in Brampton you could borrow if you're close.
