Hopefully it comes with options not fully loaded. Thats the only way it will be close to 30k canadian or under.

On a plus note Car and Driver stated Ford plans on selling it just under the GTI MSRP. Fingers Crossed because that is $23,995 USD or 29,375 CAD according to volkswagen.ca.

Side Note. Golf R is a beautiful car and but due to limited production is way over priced. 40K buys you alot of machine and a golf R wouldnt be on my list.... These would - WRX with cash to spare
- Add $2000 and get a STI
- Mustang GT
and im sure there are more. Ive never bothered cause its out of my range : (
