The 4U7Z-9J460-AA I bought in September was $43.30 (List - so no, I didn't get a deal or anything) at Whiteoak in Mississauga. Was under $50 with tax.

I don't know what dealer you're at, but they must be doing okay :)

Even if it's warranty, or extended warranty, I would just buy it and try it. Isn't your time and hassles of leaving it at the dealer worth more than $50? (time off work/school? no car to get around? misdiagnosis?)
