If you can show that the belt they put on your car is the wrong belt and caused problems because of being the wrong size then you should probably get compensated. If it's a belt that is similar enough to not make any difference in the operation of your car then I doubt they'll care enough to talk to you.
Also, how is your relationship with your service advisors at your dealership? That can make all the difference, if they actually care about keeping you happy or just want you out of the building.
